My favorite events are the random ones I find at local bars on Instagram. It's so easy to say “I want to go to this event” and then just forget about it because the algorithm buries it. So after a lot of (continued) trial and error, I made an app that takes a post and turns it into an event to plan around.

I also wanted a place to see what events my friends were going to, and for them to see what I was up to. So if I'm out somewhere right now, they can just join me; or if we're both free, we can find something to do together. I'm not a huge texter, so sharing an event on Grow is just “Are you free for this?”, a response, meeting up.
